This year has been both active and quiet on the story front. Active, because novellas and also then drama around novellas. Quiet, well, I’ve just not has as many new short stories this year as, say, ever before (seriously, check out 2025 and 2024).
But I do have things you can nominate for awards, if you’re feeling keen. There are two flash fiction pieces, and I have it on good authority that they’re absolutely incredible. There are two novellas, one just mine, one co-written with Christian (aka Miles) Cameron. And there are two essays, which expand upon all the drama surrounding the solo book. Feel free to nominate any and all of these for sci-fi, fantasy, or horror awards (Hugo, Nebula, Stoker, BSFA, Pulitzer, Nobel…).
